Interflow looks forward to meeting you at ISRS 2011

This year, Interflow will be exhibiting at the six-day ISRS international information fair and symposium (International Symposium on Radiopharmaceutical Sciences). Given our involvement in radiopharmaceutical development and our willing support of this event, Interflow has opted to become its ‘silver sponsor’.

ISRS 2011 details

The ISRS international information market and symposium will be held at the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam from 28 August until 2 September 2011. The exhibition will focus primarily on developments in the field of radiopharmacology and nuclear medicine. The programme for the week will not just be about the information market, it will include various lectures and offer the opportunity to participate in various excursions.Further information on ISRS 2011 can be found on www.ISRS2011.org.

Interflow completes GMP hot-lab at the VU MC RNC

Commissioned by the VU MC RNC, Interflow installed a GMP hot-lab at the VU MC RNC in Amsterdam in January 2011. The opening of the new VU Medical Center’s GMP radiopharmaceuticals production laboratory will provide an important boost to PET technology in the Netherlands. PET, or Positron Emission Tomography, is an imaging technique that makes the body’s biological processes visible. As such, PET is very valuable for diagnostics and medical-biological examinations and for developing new medicines.
The VU Medical Center has been producing radiopharmaceuticals for PET since 1998, but capacity has been unable to keep up with the increasing demand from the VU MC itself and from the Netherlands and abroad. The new GMP radiopharmaceuticals production laboratory satisfies the latest GMP quality requirements, puts an end to the capacity problems and offers new development opportunities.
